Enlightenment.

While I was bathing, I was thinking about stuffs when suddenly, a thought struck me! Haha, so here I am blogging for the second time for today.

Have you ever met selfish people who wouldn't give a shit about others? Like you will never ever see them sacrificing for anyone for that matter.

Well, I realized that those people are not exactly selfish, but rather, they are just narcissists who love themselves more than they can ever love anyone else. However, it is not like they will never share anything with others, BUT they will never share anything with others at the EXPENSE of themselves.

There is a limit to how much they can give/offer you. Maybe towards the people they love, the most they can give is equal to what they give themselves. Nothing more. Because they can't stand the idea of themselves "losing out". And logically, towards people who matter lesser, they give lesser. So looking at it rationally, you can't say they don't care. They do care, but they care about themselves more.

So next time, if you all were to meet someone like that, consider them as practical rather than selfish, because you gotta give them some credit for "caring". At the end of the day, what I know for sure is that what you give comes back to you. So to those "practical" people out there, please do not complain if you feel you are not treated too sincerely by others. Because sacrificing is probably the only pleasure you will never get to enjoy in life.

"I love you because I need you." rather than "I need you because I love you."
