Tribute To Mum & Dad

MUM

-She makes me breakfast no matter how early it is
(But I complain that it is just veggie and bread)

-She gives me a ride to the MRT station

-She usually can't bear to wake me up early
(But she makes me late)

-She goes to the market and carry tons of food back
(But I complain about the amount of food I have to eat)

-She had to make trips down to my pri, sec and JC when I got into trouble
(I had anal teachers)

-She taught me math and chinese in pri sch till she almost died.

-She scolded my A math teacher because she asked me to drop the subject
(HAHA)

- She listens to my rantings
(But they usually revolve around the same issues)

DAD

-He bought me little stuffs from overseas when I was younger
(But he got scolded by my mum instead)

-He changed currency for me when I head overseas
(He even gave me extra $$ =D)

- He bought me food when I felt like eating
(Weird cravings like crab/potato chips)

- He carried me on his back on the streets of HK
(Someone hit me on the head with his helmet)

- He carried me up home when I fell asleep in the car
(I was pretending because I was lazy)

-He just got me a new CPU for my desktop
(I complained it was too slow)

- He's gonna bring me to get a new printer
(Because the ones at home are screwed)

- He warned me not to step into a drain
(But he stepped right into it accidentally)

- He shielded me from my Mother
(I think my Mum caned him by accident too)

I think I must have been real good in my previous life to deserve parents like them. It is not about the material things that they give to me, but rather the attention they pay to the little things I say.

I probably would not find anyone who can treat me as well as they do. I am one lucky shit. I can't ask for more. Wait.. er.. Maybe less force feeding by my mum. HA!
